New Videos on Terror Tunnel Threat Pack a Wallop

With very few words, a new pro-Israeli advocacy video explains what the current fighting in Gaza is about and why talk of „proportionate force“ is irrelevant.

The understated video illustrates the sheer barbarism of Hamas and its plans to use tunnels for mounting attacks on Israeli communities near Gaza.

The IDF has also produced a video about the tunnel threat that includes interviews with residents of the Gaza Belt region.

While Operation Protective Edge was initially launched with the stated aim of stopping missile attacks on Israel, its main goal became eradication of the tunnel threat, once the seriousness of this threat became apparent. Hamas launched several attacks on Israel through the tunnels, and the images of large squads of terrorists emerging from tunnel shafts inside Israel shocked Israelis into the realization that the threat was an extremely grave one.
